The new porcelain stoneware project by Ragno Ceramiche was a winner in the “Finishes” category, selected for its visual and tactile communicative power.

November ends with some great news for architecture and design enthusiasts. An international jury of key figures on the architecture, interior design and contemporary design scene has drawn up the list of winners of the exclusive Archiproducts Design Awards, selected from over 750 entries and each representing specific design and communicative values.

2021 sees the sixth edition of the award, which confirms its ability to seek out and promote products of excellence that shape today’s spaces for living and sharing and also meet major challenges such as sustainability and the need to respond the new scenarios arising from the pandemic crisis.

One of the prize-winning projects in the Finishes category is Gleeze which, in Ragno’s view, represents the essence of an intimate, engaging ceramic language, profoundly linked to memory and to the tactile, as well as visual, power of surfaces.

In fact, the collection is one of the chapters in the Storie programme, with its guiding principles of small tile sizes, tailored interior design, and a strong focus on the details and perfect flaws that make all the places where we pass our daily lives unique.

The collection features super-glossy porcelain stoneware surfaces with a palette of five strong colours – Bianco, Beige, Turchese, Giada and Grigio – and comes in three different sizes, 10×10 cm, 5×15 cm and 7.5×20 cm, modular and with straight edges, enabling constantly new installation options, thanks also to the Egg and Eye three-dimensional structures.
