Anchoring systems

The AGV visible anchoring system is the simplest and most costeffective system for the construction of ventilated walls with porcelain stoneware slabs. The external surface is supported by visible stainless steel hooks that can be painted to match the finish of the slab to reduce visual impact and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facade. The plates with hooks are directly fixed onto the vertical metal uprights, which are anchored to the wall using anchoring brackets and are suitably spaced according to the size of the tile. The AGV system can be used on both flat and vertical surfaces, as well as on inclined and polygonal walls.

The AGS concealed anchoring system ensures the aesthetic elegance of the external surface, minimising technical constraints. Each slab is supplied with truncated cone holes on the back, into which special expansion anchor bolts are inserted to secure the clamps. Assembled in this manner, the tile is attached to the supporting substructure, which consists of vertical uprights with wall brackets and cross members riveted to the uprights. The system’s simplicity makes it possible to finish every design detail, including corners and door and window linings.

The Modul Panel concealed anchoring system is particularly suitable for fastening rectangular ceramic slabs, installed horizontally. The Modul Panel system involves the preassembly of several porcelain stoneware slabs using metal profiles and special expansion anchor bolts. The panel is then installed on a structure of vertical uprights anchored to the masonry with anchoring brackets and cross members riveted to the uprights. The preassembly stage permits reduced installation times and lower component costs.

The Key Panel concealed anchoring system is particularly suitable for fastening rectangular ceramic slabs, installed vertically. As with the Modul Panel system, the Key Panel system includes a preassembly stage for the porcelain stoneware slabs using metal profiles and special expansion anchor bolts. The panel is then installed on a structure of vertical uprights anchored to the masonry with anchoring brackets and cross members riveted to the uprights. Once again, preassembly of the slabs permits reduced installation times and lower production costs.

The 1 Slim C.A.T. concealed mechanical hooking system is the perfect solution for creating ventilated facades with large-size slabs (120×278, 120×240, 120×120 cm) with a slim thickness – 6 mm. The slabs are industrially engraved on the back, in the upper and lower part, with a double 45° ‘dovetail’ groove set longitudinally, which allows mechanical anchoring to metal profiles that will support the ceramic surface.

The Wall System 6 concealed anchoring system makes it possible to create ventilated walls with large, 6 mm-thick porcelain stoneware slabs (120×278, 120×240 and 120×120 cm). The outer cladding is glued to the vertical uprights using a cutting-edge structural adhesive, supported by metal hooks.

The Wall System 12 concealed anchoring system is specially designed for large 12 mm-thick porcelain stoneware slabs, which can be produced by Ragno to meet specific customer requirements. It is based on innovative custom-made technology in which the slabs are anchored in a manner similar to that of the AGS concealed system, with special expansion anchor bolts and according to a fixing system consisting of vertical uprights and cross members. Aluminium profile bars are mechanically fixed to the back of the slabs in order to distribute the loads acting on different points.
